Last
week, I spent some time registering to participate in a variety of events:
psychic fairs, small solo mediumship demonstrations, etc. As I was going
through the details, I began to reevaluate what constitutes a fair and
reasonable charge for these shorter readings. At the last big expo that I did,
I charged $50 for a 30 minute reading. Looking for a second opinion, I texted my
sister-in-law and asked for her input because while I do not want to
overcharge, I also want to make sure that I am not under-pricing myself .
She provided her thoughts and suggested possibly $40 for this type of an event
or maybe $45. I said that maybe I should just charge $44 to honor my sister and
her love that number. (It was her son’s college football jersey number and when, one week after her passing, we all went to his last home game as a senior, the
final score had his team winning with 44 points.)
When I closed the text thread with my sister-in-law, I noticed on my home
screen that I had 44 emails. So I texted her again and said that I think that
this is probably a sign.
Right then my ceiling fan lights started flickering. I immediately sent another
text to share, and the lights did it again. I was covered in chills and knew
that my sister was doing it as she has flickered lights for others since being
on the other side and because I could feel her presence.
I, then, looked up the meaning of the number 44 and the top post on Google read
that “it carries a spiritual meaning of strength, self-discipline, balance,
positive energy, and achievement. That it reminds you to stay strong in
challenging situations, maintain balance in your life, protect your positive
energy, and work towards your goals.” AND this post was made on May 18th, my
sister’s birthday!
While I was taking a screenshot of this to send it to my sister-in-law, the
ceiling fan lights flickered again and then again! THEN, the light bulb that has
been burned out for a few days came back on, and it is still burning brightly.
I was completely covered in chills and had to ask my sister to stop.
Of course, I am now charging $44 at events for 30 minute readings.
Later, when the light bulbs were cool to the touch, I checked to see if any of them were loose, especially the one that had been burnt out. They were all secure, as I knew they would be.
