"Happy Cat"
The weather is glorious today – blue skies, a few scattered skittering clouds, flowers blossoming in nearly every yard, 70° with a gentle breeze – yummy. It’s been awhile since I have managed to fit in one of my long walks but today it was a must simply so that I could soak it all in with gratitude.
As I
was nearing home, I stumbled upon this magical scene of this lovely cat sitting
amongst complementary colors and striking shadows, mewing to be let in. I
managed to only snap one photo before its request was granted, the door opened,
and it scampered inside.
I love how it looks like it is smiling for the camera. I might have to print a copy of this photo, put it in a small frame, and leave it on their doorstep. The composition and this happy cat are just too sweet. It is definitely a moment worth marking.
