Gratitude: The Secret Sauce

"Current Events"

Given the potency of taking a pause to feel gratitude when it arises, I need to just take a minute here to express some heartfelt thanks.

Yesterday, I did a remote mediumship reading. This entails either a photo of the person in spirit who the sitter (the person receiving the reading) hopes to contact, or a photo of the sitter. Lately, I have also been asking for the first name of the person in the photo as it seems to help me hone in, so to speak. After doing my daily meditation (I am currently doing The Gateway Experience) and a “sitting in the power” meditation, I connect with the other side and use the Notes app on my phone to voice record. You would think that the hardest part would be connecting with spirit but editing that note is no joke. They usually range anywhere from 2,000 - 2,500 words and are riddled with typos. The whole process usually takes about two hours.

During the reading yesterday, I was so deeply connected and was able to relay many details to the family that they were able to validate. My hope is that the readings may bring a little comfort. Grief is a process and no mediumship reading is going to alleviate it in anyone. It can, however, help us feel a little closer and provide us with a bit of wonder and a sense of connection.

When I am able to connect so deeply, I am left with a profound sense of gratitude for the person in spirit and the person receiving the reading. It is this gratitude that I am sharing today.

Yesterday, I was also invited to participate in a local series of events at a lovely fair-trade store owned by friends of mine, and while I still need to mull over details and dates, I am really looking forward to using this opportunity to do group mediumship demonstrations. Still more gratitude…

I am planning on adding a page to this blog explaining how I came into doing this work, along with some testimonials. Maybe by the time you are reading this post, it will already be up? For now though, let me just say a big, juicy “Thank You!”
